List of candidates Shortlisted for Computer Based Examination for the post of
Fieldman (Post Code No.NW12516 of Advt.NWR-01/2016) to be held on 26.03.2017
With reference to the Advertisement No.NWR-1/2016 advertised on 27.08.2016
advertising, inter alia, the post of Fieldman vide post code No.NW11516, it is brought to
the notice of the candidates that Commission has decided to conduct Computer Based
Examination for the post of Fieldman on 26.03.2017.
Lists of provisionally accepted & rejected applications were uploaded on website of
SSC(NWR) (www.sscnwr.org) on 30.12.2016 for representation of the candidates, if any.
After examination of the representations and further checking of application forms/data,
candidates have been shortlisted for examination on the basis of percentage of marks in
Essential Qualification (12th class or equivalent examination from a recognized Board
or University).
Final Scrutiny has not been done and the same would be done at the time
of Document Verification stage. Name, Date of Birth and Category have been taken as filled
by applicants during online application.
344 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for examination as per the

Subject: Recruitment to the post of Data Processing Assistant Grade ‘A’ in National
Crime Records Bureau, M/o Home Affairs, Post Code No. NW11116 of Advt.
No.NWR-1/2016.
Staff Selection Commission (NWR), completed initial scrutiny for the above
captioned post on the basis of data filled by the candidates in their application forms.
List of provisionally ineligible/rejected applicants applied online, including the details
of those candidates from whom hard copy has not been received on or before 28.11.2016 in
this Regional Office, is attached herewith and reason for rejection has been mentioned against
their names in the Remarks Column.
List of provisionally eligible/accepted applicants is also attached herewith for
information of the candidates.
The minimum cut-off fixed by the Commission for initial scrutiny is as under :
UR – 70% marks in EQ
OBC – 70% marks in EQ
SC – 65 % marks in EQ
ST – 40 % marks in EQ
Note : The above mentioned cut off is only for initial scrutiny of the applications and is
not final for shortlisting the candidates for written examination. Final cut off and
list of candidates shortlisted for Written Examination shall be uploaded on
website in due course.
It is to mention here that both the lists (accepted & rejected) are purely provisional. It
does not mean that any candidate whose name is in the list of accepted applicants has been
shortlisted for written examination. If any candidate (other than those candidates, from whom
Hard copy and supporting documents have not been received), claims to be eligible, it may be
brought into the notice of Assistant Director at email address sscnwr.rep.sp@gmail.com latest
by 5th March, 2017. No representation shall be entertained after this date.
